Agent Program Terms
Last updated: August 5, 2026
These terms cover licensed real-estate agents who join the Home Price Showdown agent program and feature listings in the Agent Spotlight. By participating, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't submit a listing.
1. Who can take part
You must be a real-estate agent or broker holding a current, valid license in good standing in the state where the listing is located, and be authorized to market each listing you feature (for example, as the listing agent or with the listing broker's permission).
2. What you let us do
You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to display the listing information and your name, brokerage, and contact details you provide, in order to feature your listing and connect interested players with you. You can ask us to remove a listing at any time.
3. What you promise us
- You are a licensed agent in good standing and are authorized to market each listing you submit.
- You own or have the rights to everything you submit — including any photos — and sharing it with us and displaying it here does not break any agreement, license (including MLS rules), or anyone else's copyright.
- The listing details are accurate and not misleading when submitted.
- You will tell us promptly when a listing is no longer active so we can remove it.
- Your listing and conduct comply with fair-housing laws and all applicable advertising and real-estate regulations.
4. It's free — and it's marketing, not a referral fee
There is no charge to feature your listings. We don't take a commission or a referral fee. Featuring a listing is not a guarantee of leads, and nothing here creates an agency, partnership, or employment relationship between us.
5. We curate the program
We review every agent and every listing by hand, and we may decline, edit for length or clarity, pause, or remove any listing or agent at any time, for any reason — including anything that looks inaccurate, out of date, or non-compliant. Listings are shown in an area clearly labeled as real, agent-provided listings, separate from the game's fictional demo homes.
6. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the listings and content you submit. To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover us for claims, losses, or costs that arise from content you submitted or from your breach of these terms. We provide the program “as is,” without warranties.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the program grows. If we make a significant change, we'll update the date above and, where practical, let featured agents know.
8. Questions
Reach out any time through the For Agents page.
This summary is provided for the agent program and isn't legal advice. Featuring a listing doesn't change your own professional, licensing, or fair-housing obligations.
