Home Price Showdown (“we,” “us”) is a real-estate price-guessing game operated by Shawn Siokos, a loan officer with Success Mortgage Partners, Inc. (NMLS ID# 130562). This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. You can play as a guest without an account; the information below applies mainly if you choose to create one.

What we collect

  • Account details — if you sign up: a username and email address (required), and optionally your full name. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive the basic profile and email they share.
  • Gameplay data — your scores and streak, so you can track your progress.
  • Technical data — cookies needed to keep you signed in.

How we use it

  • To create and manage your account and save your progress.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the game.
  • To send you occasional emails — and, especially early on, infrequent ones — about the game and related homeownership and mortgage tools from Shawn Siokos / Success Mortgage Partners, Inc. You can opt out of these promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us below; essential account and service messages will still be sent.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We use a small number of service providers to run the app: Supabase (accounts and database), Vercel (hosting), and, if you use social sign-in, Google or Facebook for authentication. Each processes data on our behalf to provide the service.

Your choices

  • Play as a guest without providing any personal information.
  • Leave the optional full name field blank.
  • Unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing us below.
  • Edit your details, or delete your account and its data, from your account page.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all of its data at any time. Sign in, open your account page, and choose Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, username, email, and gameplay history from our database. If you signed in with Google or Facebook, deleting your account here also removes the data we received from them; you can additionally remove our app from your Google or Facebook account settings. If you cannot sign in for any reason, email ssiokos@smprate.com from the address on your account and we will delete your data for you.

Real estate agents

If you apply to our agent program or feature a listing, we collect the details you provide — your name, brokerage, email and phone, license and MLS numbers, market area, and the listing information and photos you submit. We use this to review your application and, once approved, to feature your listings. Approved agents' business contact details and listing information are shown publicly in the Agent Spotlight. We review applications and listings by hand and may remove any of them at any time. You can ask us to remove your information using the contact below.

Data & children

Account data is stored with Supabase and protected by access controls. This game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, state privacy laws (such as California's) may give you the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of it for targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal information. You can exercise these rights — or ask any privacy question — by emailing us below, and you can view, edit, or delete your data yourself from your account page at any time. We won't treat you differently for exercising these rights.
